The entire family helped unload the handmade bottled of blueberry preserve from the car. Big excited smiles were on their face as they walked up to the most beautiful outdoor venue. At that moment I thought to myself ‘this is the only way Courtney and Max would have had their wedding day’.
My dear friend Courtney, who taught me how to tie my shoes laces some 25+ years ago, was a bride on Saturday. Courtney and Max actually officially tied the knot a few weeks ago in a secret ceremony with just the two of them present (how romantic!). Saturday we enjoyed their wedding reception in a blueberry field, on a gorgeous sunny day, surrounded by their family and close friends. I felt so lucky and blessed to be apart of this day and to share in their family’s joy.
Courtney and Max, I love you both and wish you all the happiness that marriage to your best friend can bring.
