Alecia and Vic: Wedding

You know that warm and cozy feeling you get when you sit down with your family for that big Thanksgiving dinner? You feel blessed to be surrounded by those you love and you feel loved, safe and just happy. Well that is the exact way Alecia and Vic's wedding day felt. Perhaps it was the way he glanced lovingly at her throughout the day; perhaps it was the intimate nature of their wedding; or perhaps it was the way there wasn't a dry eye when Alecia danced with her father. Whatever it was, it was beautiful.

Alecia and Vic were married last weekend at the Springer House - a fantastic estate home with a garden which any couple would go ga-ga over. Everything was perfect about their day, including the way the sun started to set over the barn as they said their vows.

Alecia and Vic, thank you for allowing me to capture this incredible day for you. I knew from the moment I met you we would create some amazing photos together. You are both such great people and I wish you all the happiness that marriage can bring.

Lee & Colin: Wedding

With her bridesmaids and parents at her side, Lee calmly got ready for her big day. Her smile literally beamed from ear to ear. She was getting married, how could she not smile. And then Colin walked in the house, bouncing up the stairs ready to greet his bride. And at that moment everyone in the house's smiles were as wide as Lee's.

Lee and Colin were married last weekend at the University of Toronto with a fantastic personalized reception at Globe Bistro on the Danforth. I feel very honoured to have been a part of their day as their second shooter and to capture this special day for them.

Creating Photography Magic with Assaf

Last weekend I had the privilege of shooting with my good friend, Assaf Friedman, on two amazing weekend weddings. Both Saturday and Sunday's wedding were absolutely stunning - both very different in style but both both incredibly warm and inviting.

I have said this before, and I must say it again....I love my job.

It may be a few weeks before I can share a full post from both of these weddings, so here is a sneak peak...a little taste of what photo magic is to come!

Bad Blogger

I know...I have been a bad blogger. No posts in almost 4 weeks!!!

I promise the month of October will be filled with lots of family portraits, weddings and engagement shoots. Please stay tuned!
